Kabilang ang Araling Panlipunan sa ginaganap na taunang National Festival of Talents (NFOT). Ito ay alinsunod sa memorandum ng Kagawaran ng Edukasyon na inilalathala taon-taon. Madalas itong nangyayari sa buwan ng Pebrero. Ngayong taong 2018, ginanap ang NFOT noong nakaraang Pebrero 19 -23. Ito ay may temang “Pagkakaisa sa Kulturang Pilipino Tungo sa Kapayapaan, Pagkakaisa at Pagbabago”.  

Ang temang ito ay nagamit na para sa ngayong taong 2018.  Gayunpaman, mayroong ginagawang Division Festival of Talents bilang paghahanda sa nalalapit na 2019 National Festival of Talents.
